The Samsung Infuse 4G is an Android
3G smartphone that is currently
available for AT&T.Its huge 4.5
inch display, it became one of the
most anticipated smartphones for
those that not only love big screens
but also love to watch media on-the-
go.The Samsung Infuse 4G was released a year ago on May 15th 2011.The Samsung Infuse 4G is being billed
as the thinnest 4G
smartphone and it measures in with a
design that is 8.99mm thin at its
thinnest part. Its form factor along
with its massive 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen makes it one of
the most interesting Android phones
on AT&T.

And while it might not have a dual-
core processor, it does have a speedy
a 1.2GHz Hummingbird processor and
out of the box, it's powered by
Google's Android 2.2 Froyo software
with an upgrade to Gingerbread more than likely coming in the future. It also
comes with Samsung's TouchWiz 3.0
UI over the top of it.

It also has a massive 1750 mAh
lithium ion battery and two cameras
(rear is 8MP and front is 1.3MP) which,
along with the rest of the specs, make
the Infuse 4G an extremely attractive
device.

Smartphone:Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The Galaxy Nexus is a touchscreen slate Android smartphone developed by a partnership between Google and Samsung.The phone and operating system were developed collaboratively by engineers from both companies.

It is the third generation successor to Google's previous flagship phones, the Nexus One and Nexus S . It has an HD (720p) Super AMOLED display with curved glass, an improved camera system, and Google's new version of its Android operating system, version 4.0, codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich.

The name is the result of co-branding between the Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus brands of Android smartphones. It is one of the few phones recommended by the Android Open Source Project for Android software development .

HARDWARE

The Galaxy Nexus features a 4.65- inch 1280x720-pixel HD Super AMOLED PenTile curved glass display,a dual-core 1.2 GHz TI OMAP 4460 processor (ARM Cortex- A9)with an accompanying PowerVR SGX540, 1 GB of RAM; a 1,750 mAh battery (1,850 mAh LTE version); 1.3 MP front camera and 5 MP rear camera (with zero shutter lag) capable of 1080p video with the rear camera and 720p with the front camera; 4G; Wi-Fi a/b/ g/n; Bluetooth ; GPS, barometer; NFC ; and 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage. As of 2012, the 32 GB model has been discontinued.

The Galaxy Nexus also hosts support for MHL through the use of its Micro USB 2.0 port. This means that the Galaxy Nexus has the ability to output up to 1080p audio-visual content (through HDMI) to any supported external display such as HD Television .

The Galaxy Nexus has no physical buttons on the front, but instead features on-screen soft keys embedded into the system software (part of Android 4.0). Beneath the soft keys, a multicolored notification LED is featured, a feature missing from the Nexus S .

The 3.5 mm headphone jackis located on the bottom of the phone, and the camera is located in the center of the rear side.

Google making search smarter with 'semantic' capabilities

Google says it is retooling its search machine to go beyond recognizing words in queries and begin understanding what it is people are asking for.

Google says it is retooling its search machine to go beyond recognizing words in queries and begin understanding what it is people are asking for. The California-based Internet titan is intent on adding "semantic" capabilities to automatically comprehend meanings of phrases and questions to better fetch the online information being sought. "Right now, our understanding is pretty darn limited," Google fellow and online search veteran Amit Singhal said of online search Thursday in a message posted at the company's Google+ online social network. "Ask us for the 10 deepest lakes in the US and we'll give you decent results based on those keywords, but not necessarily because we understand what depth is or what a lake is," he explained.

To make search smarter, Google is tapping into the virtual brain of a Freebase database of knowledge regarding what things are and how they relate to one another.
Google acquired the "open-source knowledge graph" when it bought San Francisco-based Metaweb Technologies in 2010 for an undisclosed sum. "In the time since, we've grown (Freebase) from 12 million interconnected entities and attributes to over 200 million," Singhal said. "Our vision for this knowledge graph is as a tool to aid the creation of more knowledge -- an endless cycle of creativity and insight." Traditional Internet search formulas recognize words typed into query boxes and then deliver links to websites that appear relevant.

Google did not reveal a timeline for the evolution to "semantic" capabilities. Google is perpetually tuning its search engine, and in January wove content from its social network and Picasa photo-sharing service into its search formula to serve up personalized results to online queries.

"Search, plus Your World" lets people signed into Google accounts get search results that include content approved for sharing by them or friends at Google+ or Picasa.
