Android update for Nougat is 7.1 Build NDE63B

Google released the stable version of its latest operating system not long ago and rumors on the upcoming version have already surfaced. Android 7.0 Nougat didn’t come with some of the most anticipated features, like the Nexus Launcher and Google Assistant. A new leak seems to suggest that the upcoming Nougat update will be named Android 7.1 build NDE63B.

Google's Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones will most likely release the NDE63B build carrying the Android 7.1 Nougat update Since rumors say that the Pixel and Pixel XL are set to be unveiled on October 4, it’s highly likely that factory images and release updates will be provided around the same date, but only to some Nexus smartphones. Owners of other brands of phones would have to wait until developers adjust the new OS version and make it available to them, and this could take up to a few months.
Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are certainly exciting, especially since the devices are said to come with Sony-branded front and back shooters. Pixel XL should feature a Sony IMX378 sensor on the back, the same as on the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. Front camera capacity could reach 8MP with Sony IMX179 sensor, found on the rear camera of the Nexus 5 from 2013.
